I am requesting various seating options for students in order to give them a choice of where they would like to sit and where they feel they can work their very best. I am also requesting wobble chairs for students who learn and work better when they're wiggling! In my classroom, we rotate through stations where students have the opportunity to read independently, listen to reading on CD or website, work on writing, work on phonics and word study and read with a buddy. Students will also gain experience in taking turns and sharing as they rotate through the choice of their seat.
