I am a second grade teacher, and I dearly love my students. Our school's mission statement is "Learning, leading, and succeeding!" and every day we strive together to do just that. My classroom is filled with hard-workers who have creative and resilient minds. They are curious and determined and are among the top in our district. I have students of all academic levels and backgrounds in my classroom.
This year, I want to be the teacher that continues to push my students further in all areas of their learning, both social and academic. I want to focus on developing rigor and excitement for learning in my classroom in order to develop my students into lifelong learners who can overcome any challenge placed in front of them. My desire is that they grow into adolescents and adults who change the world. I love what I do, and I love my students. They are hands down the best class ever.
