We are a polytechnic school with a focus on college and career readiness. Every student has chosen a major such as electric, construction or health occupations. Many of these majors involve real world learning through internships at a job site. Our students are an even mix of African American, Asian, Hispanic and white students with a majority coming from low income families. Some will begin skilled trades after school and others will go on to college to become engineers, programmers, nurses, and dentists. They are focused on learn best when using their hands in active activities, like building molecules with models.
