My students want to read ENGAGING fiction stories, nonfiction passages, and grade-level appropriate poetry. These books will give them a daily dose of reading, while practicing important comprehension skills, and it's all aligned with the Common Core State Standards! With two levels of books I can make sure any child, no matter what their level is, is taken care of in my classroom!
The students at this Atlanta school strive to be internationally-minded individuals. They think about the world around them and often take action to make the world a better place to live. They are inquirers who continually ask questions, which allows them to dig deeper in whatever they may be studying.
