The use of these painting materials my classroom, will enhance general curriculum units of study. Students who struggles to express themselves verbally and through writing will have the opportunity to show understanding through a new and exciting medium. Having the appropriate classroom materials will show my students their work is valued and appreciated. Struggling to find enough brushes and keeping them ready for use is a challenge for a specialist. This is especially difficult when the children are excited to begin expressing themselves on paper. These materials will allow for smoother transitions and more time for students to work. Students that are easily distracted when things aren't expediently distributed benefit from materials that are accessible. Students will also have the opportunity to learn how to maintain and care for their art materials giving them a sense of ownership within the classroom.
