Having a set of iPads for our classroom will allow my students to be immersed in STEM related projects while recording their ideas to an online portfolio, which will be accessible to student, teacher, and parents, letting parents see into their child's everyday learning. Recently, we created towers out of marshmallows and toothpicks. Students used my phone to record their ideas and how they were planning their structures. They also were able to take pictures and video in real time of their structures being built, standing, or toppling over. Having a set of iPads, one that each group could share, would allow for students to explore further.

About my class
