This year I have the perfect mix of students. They are the sweetest bunch! They have a desire to learn and grow and I want to provide every avenue for them to do so. When I asked my students which of them had a gadget to bring in for use in the classroom, about half of my students didn't have anything to bring. My school has a very diverse population with about 45% of the students considered "economically needy." Recently our school has implemented a school-wide goal to increase the technology use in the classroom. This is GREAT news for the students that have technology and really hard on the students who don't. Our school is doing its best to get technology into the hands of our students, but we do not have the funds to provide each student with an electronic resource.
