More than half of my students are reading below grade level. Reading is an essential part of any student's academic growth. Not only does reading develop imagination and the ability to discover new things, it is also an important skill to function in their everyday lives. By providing my students with a wide range of leveled books, they will be able to discover and cultivate their own love for reading. We do not have a school library and many of my students do not have the time or resources to go to the public libraries in their neighborhoods. This donation will allow my 20 students to have the opportunity to have access to books that are on their level and of their interest.
