I will use the futon and throw pillows to enhance our reading corner. I want to create a space where students are comfortable and excited to engage in wonderful books. Our reading corner will be a space where students can sit and enjoy a book independently or share and discuss books in partnerships and book clubs. Building positive relationships with my students is my top priority. Providing students with a warm and inviting classroom environment will help to support the kind of relationships I strive to have with my students. The affirmation pillows will help add to the "good vibes" of our classroom.
