I teach in a second grade classroom in Northern California. Our school is a Title 1, low income school where approximately 50% of our students are English language learners and most of the students receive free or reduced lunch. There are not always a lot of opportunities for our students. However, they work so hard, are eager to learn, and thrive when given the right experiences and opportunities.
