Our lovely students come to us with an array of stories and a variety of needs. We are home to a "Multiple Handicap" strand, which means that all of our students experience a combination of cognitive and physical disabilities that require specialized instruction. For example, we have students with cerebral palsy, who also have a seizure disorder. We have students with complex medical needs, such as tube feedings or breathing machines, in addition to an intellectual impairment. While there is no denying the significant need of our students, let it not be understated that these children are bright, vibrant people, who deserve and desire an education. Our kids love coming to school, and in turn, our school is a warm, supportive place that loves them right back!
