The community in which I teach is a very diverse community. We are a Title I school, and the majority of our population are English Language Learners. The students in my school are always grateful for the amount of love and support they receive from the teachers at my school. Most of our students qualify for free and reduced price meals. Many of my students don't have the opportunity to travel and explore the world, so books are a great way for them to learn about the world and other communities. Books allow them to travel to places they have never been and experience things they have never experienced.
