Greetings! Thank you for visiting my Donors Choose page. I teach sophomore English and a Music as Literature course in a public school in Chicago, IL. The courses are centered around developing students' reading, writing, critical thinking, and communication skills. The curriculum includes a variety of fiction and nonfiction texts, drama, poetry, music, film, and media. I joined Donors Choose because of significant budget cuts to urban education. My goal is to request books, materials, and resources, so students have access to learn and grow as readers, writers, thinkers, and collaborators.
