My students are diverse inner city students. They are 4th & 5th grade students who are learning to enjoy, perform and excel on a musical instrument. Most cannot afford the supplies and musical accessories needed so the school system supplies them for instrumental music classes.
Our school is a performing arts magnet. We strive to have our students perform as much as possible by taking them out into the community, to other district schools, and participating in Indiana State School Music Association events.
