The Pre-K students I teach are mostly from a low-income/high poverty district that are dealing with various challenges both in and out of the classroom. Providing the youngest learners of our district with creative and meaningful learning experiences which will help them be successful students as they continue their education is important to me. This new school year brings further challenges as our district deals with funding cuts. My teaching needs now will be to access remote learning resources to make sure that my students are getting the best learning experiences through my remote teaching while keeping everyone healthy at a distance. My primary goal this school year will be to create a warm, welcoming, learning environment through distance learning for my kids and their families. Sharing the joy and awe of learning with my Pre-K kids is priceless to me and 2020-2021 will be a new way of learning for everyone!
About my class
