My students will enjoy exploring many science concepts with hands-on manipulatives. They will love using electric circuits to explore open versus closed circuits, or series versus parallel circuits. They will love to build their own human circuit with electric wands. They will enjoy designing labs to explore the scientific process with the force and motion kit. They will explore the properties of light with the light kit, and the intricacies of a food web with the ecosystem and food web kit. There is so much more they will be able to explore in science.
In mathematics, they will also be able to manipulate fractions in many ways using tiles and circles. They will use their Expo markers and boards to communicate problem solving strategies, check their work, and practice computation. They will enjoy solving multi-step problems sitting on those yoga ball chairs to enhance their focus and endurance.
In general, their experience will be much more dynamic, engaging and relevant to their learning.
