I teach in a low income school district, which happens to be the one I graduated from. Some of my students come to school and view it as their safe place, as well as a place to get two meals a day. I often provide my students with basic necessities they need to make it through the school year and some students need more than that, I have provided students with clothes, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and sometimes my desk becomes a salon for some of my kiddos! I treat my students as if they were my own children. Thanks for considering my projects!
