I work with an amazing group of students. All of my students are two levels below proficiency and represent the lower quartile at my school, but they work hard each day to improve their math skills. Mindset is an important factor in my classroom and even at this early point in the year, my students know that attitude makes all the difference.Since the kids I teach rely heavily on technology in their personal lives, it only makes sense to give them a technological advantage in the classroom as well. My school is interesting in that we have several populations. Although my school is in a rural setting, we pull from many areas in the city as well creating a very diverse population.
