The mobile learning center will be used during morning meetings, readers and writers workshop, shared writing, read alouds, center rotations, and many other activities allowing for active engagement during lessons. The center not only has the ability to be moved around the classroom, but it holds chart paper, a dry erase board, and has storage bins for student materials. Classroom space is limited and having a mobile learning center would be beneficial in all aspects of learning throughout the day. The additional materials: carpet, book pouches, and pocket charts are essential for providing students with a comfy area to work during centers, a pouch to hold their books and center materials, and pocket charts to display which center to rotate to and new sight words, sentence frames, ect. In first grade, students are building their social skills, which include participation. By having the mobile learning center and additional materials my students would have a more interactive environment to learn. Your generous donation will help make learning exciting and fun every day! Thank you for your consideration.
