The school I teach at is one of the smallest in the district, but is filled with students from the local neighborhood as well as from transfers. The school has a variety of students that range from low income to middle class income. The students are filled with joy and an excitement for learning that I can see everyday in Kindergarten. They are eager to spend time with one another and share what they have learned and done. When one student has a success, the students are quick to come together and celebrate. When a student is discouraged, they come together to help and encourage one another.
