I teach in a high poverty school where the majority of students receive free lunch. They do not often get the same opportunities as students in other schools around the state. Many of them have unsettled home lives, so I strive to create the best environment possible for them at school. Technology is all around us, but much of it is inaccessible to my students due to financial constraints. I feel that using technology more in the classroom will keep them engaged and help close the achievement gap. These kids deserve the best resources and that is what I am trying to provide for them.
