I teach at an urban high school divided into multiple academies. Our students are in the business academy, and so are not able to take musical electives as their counterparts in the Performing and Fine Arts academy do. Yet we have immense talent in our student ranks, and many have shown strong interest in musical enrichment activities. I've brought in all the guitars I own, but it is still not enough.
