My students are from a small town where more than half the students come from economically disadvantaged families. I strive to provide students with hands-on learning experiences that they would not otherwise experience outside school. When my students participate in such experiences they become excited and engaged in the learning process. The world through the lens of a microscope is a way to get students excited about science.
