Many of the materials are basic supplies such as pencils and erasers. Additionally, colored bins will provide organization and consistency. The printer is needed for printing signs and books to be used in the classroom. Currently, the black and white images do not attract attention. I have used my personal printer, but this gets expensive. I have individual white boards which provide great visual assessments of student understanding, but the markers are dying and they are using their hands as erasers. These supplies are necessary to my classroom.
Helping students succeed is my highest priority. Keeping an organized classroom provides my students with stability that many of them are lacking at home. The use of color draws students attention and helps them focus on important topics.
