My students take great pride in succeeding. By taking the AP Statistics test, my students are challenging themselves academically. The dominantly Hispanic community of my school places such an importance on college and getting ahead in the students' lives. All the students in AP courses recognize the commitment to the classes and the tests, and they also place high importance on their education and what it will mean for their future. More than seventy-five percent of the students at my school will be first-generation college students. On their journey to becoming so, they take AP classes in hopes of gaining future college credit. No student at my school has ever passed the AP Statistics test. My students this year will change that. With your help and the AP Statistics Exam textbooks, my students will have access to resources that were not previously available to them. They will be the first class in our school's history to pass the AP test.
