My fourth graders are energetic and hard-working. They come from predominantly low-income households and qualify for free breakfast and lunch. Many have experienced disruptive home lives. Despite challenges in their home lives, they come to school eager and excited to learn. I do my best to ensure that I meet them where they are and provide the right amount of support and challenge.
