I am the math specialist at a Title I school in Norfolk, VA which is an urban school district, with a high number of military students and families. Prior to this year, 65.75% of students at our school received free or reduced lunch. We are now part of a grant program that allows all of our students to have access to free breakfast and lunch. I love helping students develop a conceptual understanding of math!
