Sensory activities are important for students in my class because it allows them to self-regulate and decompress from a previous activity.
When students are given time to ride on a scooter board or play with items in a sensory container, they can then better access work activities and increase their learning opportunities. Students can work on sensory activities and then get back to their work.
Returning to school after a year of being at home has been difficult for all students, especially the students in my class. They are getting adjusted to being in school all day and many look forward to sensory activities as a reward for working hard in class. I appreciate your time and consideration in looking at my project! My students would really appreciate your donations!
