The students at my school represent a diverse culture of Hispanic and African American Students. We are a Title I school. The stated purpose of Title I is to "ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum proficiency on challenging State academic achievement standards and State academic assessments." Our Title I funds can only do so much when it comes to providing our students with educational resources. In this age of cutting edge technology, our students need technology in order to compete educationally with other students. Our students love to show what they know, and to compete with each other. I want everyone to see the growth of our students!
