My elementary school houses grades 1-5. We are a suburban school but have about 75% of our students coming from low income households. Our school is located in a large but close knit community. Parents are very involved with their children's educational experiences. Our student population is very diverse. Our student population includes students that are Caucasian, African American, and students learning English as a Second Language. My students are very excited to be experimenting with various science concepts this year. Our school focuses on providing students with project based learning experiences. We strive to give the students real world experiences every day. Students come to school ready to learn and work hard while they are at school.
