Adding a live broadcasting component to my class will help students learn career technical skills which can be applied immediately after high school, in a career field, or possibly in college.
Through repetition, students will learn the fast paced world of live broadcasting as well as the importance of supporting one's community.
By implementing live broadcasting, students will learn everything from directing a live show to working sound, to operating a camera. Our primary broadcasting shows will be sports games, performances, and a weekly student produced news show. They will also learn fundamental skills such as collaboration, communication, and organization.
