My students are from a rural population in an Alabama small town. Many come from single parent homes or small families. Most of their jobs are minimum wage paying jobs. My school is 100% free lunch and breakfast. We receive minimum state funding with is about $390 a year for instructional supplies. My school has a wonderful environment we have about 400 students in grades 3-5.
