My PreK students do not have access to computers or tablets in our classroom. Tablets are the best option for 4-year-olds because most of the kids are familiar with them, and they are touchscreen which makes them easy to use.
In the event that we have to move to distance learning, I hope to set my students up for success with prior knowledge and practice with the apps and sites they will use at home. My goal is to have the students comfortable with the expectations and routines of distance learning to ease the stress on the students and their parents.
