My school is a public, Title 1 middle school located in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn, New York. I teach four seventh grade classes ELA. My classes are made up of gifted students that come from low income families. This however, does not stop them from excelling. Students in my school have the potential to succeed but lack the materials to get to the point of excellence.
