I am requesting an expensive and extensive STEM program to use every day in my classroom. We need Architects Design Blocks, STEM fairy tale problem solving kits, and a Mobile STEM Station. These activities will allow the students to use hands-on skills, design skills, and creativity with each task. The STEM activities will allow my students to practice reading and to design props relevant to a story. The students can also design a roller coaster, a house, a bridge and so on. With math and reading receiving so much focus, science, technology, and engineering have taken a back seat. For these energetic, inquisitive, and hands-on learners, STEM activities will be a welcome addition into my daily classroom activities.
