I am a Kindergarten teacher. We moved from desk to tables this year. So my students need seat sacks to put their things in, so they are not all over the table. I am trying to teach my students organization.
Since this is the first year for most of my students, they need to learn letters and numbers. With lots of letters and numbers, the students will be able to manipulate them so they can recognize letters, spell words, learn and count.
Lastly, the literacy center will help them keep up with where they are suppose to be in the classroom. School is brand new to them, so they need reminders to keep them on task.
