My students
I teach Kindergarten for 22 of the most amazing little learners! They are from poor backgrounds but are very excited to absorb as much knowledge as they possibly can. My class represents a rich mix of diverse backgrounds, most of which are from refugee groups. There is simply no money for much, especially technology.
Most of my students enter school without ever having seen technology at all. Once they are introduced to anything new, they cannot get enough. Learning becomes alive for them and technology can bring their learning to much higher levels.
New to school, many new to our country, most of my students are simply not knowledgeable about technology. Although they are very quick learners, the technology in my classroom is just not up to par. The district provides us with computers, however not all of them work and the ones that do take forever to load.
