Hello!
My name is Ms. Hahn and I am the Dance educator at JHS 131. I am lucky enough to work with grades 6-8. My students are filled with life, ideas, and talent. They are so eager to learn and explore dance! In my class, students learn that dance goes beyond movement. We are a supportive family who love and respect each other, appreciate all our different and unique talents, and understand that dance can be found anywhere in the world! The impact of movement is imperative for my students. It is a way for them to release their emotions and feelings. They know once they come into my classroom they leave their problems at the door and use how they are feeling to power their movement and ideas. Ask any of my students to describe themselves as dancers and they will respond, "Strong, fierce and FABULOUS!!!"
