Dilworth Elementary has a long-established history of supporting the arts as an essential element to learning. Thanks to a supportive community, all students receive art lessons every week throughout the school year. In my classroom, I teach a continual progression of fundamental skills in drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, fiber arts, printmaking, bookmaking, and collage in grades K-6. Additionally, I highly emphasize the importance and transparent instruction in the 21st Century Learning Skills of Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration.
