I am a teacher in a Title 1 school. My students are in third grade in an intensive acceleration reading class. What does that mean? They receive 60 minutes of reading intervention daily due to being in the lowest 25th percentile in third grade. What I love most about my students is that even though they know they need the extra help, they come to school ready to learn everyday! They are eager and accept the academic challenges that are presented to them on a daily basis.
