When my students enter the speech therapy room, they can change into their special "speech masks." Wearing these masks will allow them the opportunity to view themselves attempting to make their sounds when we do mirror activities. I will also be able to monitor their lip and tongue positions and be able to provide feedback accordingly.
The visual feedback provided by the clear window face masks is a key component for both me as the therapist and, more importantly, my students to ensure that our time spent in therapy is as effective as possible.
I have no doubt the kids will love them and respond positively to the added visual input they will be able to receive!
