Pre-K students learn best through play! My classroom is divided into various learning centers. Each learning center has intentional learning opportunities in them. We need a carpet in the Block Area to designate this learning space. The current rug we have is fraying on the edge making it a tripping hazard for students. It is also disintegrating on the back causing a big mess on the flooring.
The Neighborhood Carpet we are hoping to get has roads, water, and pictures of things found in our environment. All of these things help foster imagination and a safe space for block play!
