I teach in a Kindergarten classroom. In order for my students to be as successful as possible, they need materials that they can explore and be able to increase their sensory and whole brain learning. My students need to be able to learn at their own pace but have enough guidance and materials that will allow them to be successful. The goal for this classroom is to guide my students to obtain as much knowledge as possible in Math, ELA, Science and Life Skills so that they will be able to eventually move onto first grade and be at the same level as all their peers.
