The students that will be in my third grade class come from a variety of families and learning styles. Almost 40 percent of students in our school live below the poverty line. Our district provides free breakfast to every student. Approximately 50 percent of our students receive free and reduced lunch.
From the moment they walk into my classroom, I make sure my students feel welcomed and loved by both myself and those around them. My goal as their teacher is to make sure they are taught in a safe learning environment and that they are making growth during the time they are with me.
