I have 25 kindergarteners in my classroom. They all come to me with a big variety of personalities, ability levels, life experiences, and prior knowledge. It is challenging to meet the needs of each and every learner in the classroom effectively. Our school is located in a high-poverty, rural school district located in central North Carolina. With the reduction of teacher assistants in the classroom, the tablets will allow me to have independent, engaging activities for students to participate in while I am working with small groups of students.
