Do you know why my third graders are so awesome? Because they are not only leaders of Self but learning to be a Leader of Others! We are a Leader in Me school where our mission is All Belong, All Learn, All Lead, To Succeed!
"The more that you read, the more things you will know, the more that you learn, the more places you'll go." Dr. Seuss
There is so much power that books hold for children. The 3rd graders in my class love to read, create and imagine. Do you remember when you were a kid and found a book series that you could not put down? That one book that you read made you realize that you like to read? My students have that same fire to read. To go on the adventure that books lead you through! Some already love to read and some still need to find that book that ignites the fire for their love of reading. I believe with a diverse classroom library this can happen for all my students!
