The materials that will be purchased will help the students have fun, engaging materials to practice the skills necessary for success in reading and writing through the grades. Kindergarten students need a strong foundation of phonemic awareness and language. This project requests a Creating Sight-Word Sentences Center, Building Words and Simple Sentences Instant Learning Centers, a Rhyming Sounds Magnetic Sorting Board, 3-Letter Word Building Puzzles, a Roll & Read Short Vowel Game, Fishing for Sight-Words, Junior Learning CVC Word Builders Activity Cards, Rhyming Match-Ups, and one Sight-Word Daily Activity Journal. The Write & Wipe Alphabet and Sight-Word Practice Cards are tools can be reused many times over. The kindergarten standards are very unique and the materials will provide fun opportunities for them to practice and use rhyming words, CVC words, sight words, and help them to build sentences. The project will provide rhyming puzzles, games, letter tiles, sentence builders, sight word practice, writing practice in fun excited in news to support the curriculum and standards. My kindergarten students need multiple ways to learn and this project will help provide that!
