I teach fifth grade in an amazing public school in New York City. I am so fortunate because I get to work with amazing students and I am surrounded by positive, supportive administration and parents. These students travel far, mostly by bus, to be able to attend our lottery school. Their day starts early and ends late and yet they still find energy to work hard in the classroom. Unfortunately, our funds are low and we struggle to provide them with necessary materials within the classroom. They are an inspiration and I am consistently looking for new ways to encourage and support them. Thank you in advance for supporting these wonderful students!
