We are requesting a class set (24) of Rubik's cubes to build my students' critical thinking skills. When students walk into my class and see Rubik's cubes, they always ask if they can try to solve one. Unfortunately, we only have two cubes so only a few students have had the opportunity to attempt solving them at a time. I have never been able to teach a class lesson on strategies and methods for solving a Rubik's cube.
The class set will allow ALL my students to have a chance at solving the Rubik's cubes as they work together to share strategies and overcome challenges. The students will be using instruction booklets, watching tutorials, and getting help from me as well as each other as they work through the algorithms to discover that they can do anything!
