Technology is in every part of our world, therefore, we need updated technology in our classroom too! We use Chromebooks for many different things during the school day, such as providing audiobooks for struggling readers, researching current events, typing final projects and essays, and collaborating with classmates. We use chromebooks daily to provide individualized learning opportunities for our students. We also regularly use Google Classroom to assign work, provide resources, and foster collaboration. Our students deserve these learning opportunities! Currently, we have very old chromebooks, many of which have screens that died, keys that broke, and charging ports that no longer charge. Having access to functioning Chromebooks will help students in our community access the equitable education opportunities. Thank you for considering our project! Our students will be ecstatic!
